The Call to be Ambassadors of Grace
This topic emphasizes that every person who has accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior and, through that acceptance, has received the grace of God, has been entrusted with the sacred ministry of revealing His love, mercy, and salvation to a broken world. The call to be an ambassador of grace is not reserved for a select few such as prophets, apostles, or clergy. Rather, every believer redeemed by Christ is a candidate for this divine assignment.
GRACE TO FORGIVE
PSALM 130:3-4, PSALM 103: 8-12, MATHEW 6:14-15
Forgiveness is the greatest gift God has always extended graciously to humanity.
Psalm 32:1
1. Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
Forgiveness reconciles us with our God and brings forth joy and fulfilment in our daily walk with our Creator. In the Lord's prayer there's a part that highlights on Forgiveness, many at times we want to be forgiven and we still hold on to grudges for people who have offended us. Believers should always endeavour to extend the same mercy to others who have offended us.
Psalm 56:3-4; Genesis 12:1-4; Matthew 14:28-30 (2 Corinthians 5:7)
Stepping out gives the connotation of getting out of a comfort zone into the unknown. Stepping out in faith paints the picture of leaving behind all that is familiar and boldly embracing a new world – the unknown. The currency of transportation into the unknown is bold faith that all will be well. Now faith calls for one to ‘see’ what the naked eye cannot see. All one may have is a vision and that becomes the power that fuels the movement from the known to the unknown.
PSALM 34:17-19, ISAIAH 40:29-31
MEMORY VERSE: PSALM 34:18
Challenges in life can wear people down and make them feel worthless, hopeless and tormented. The story of Paul in the book of 2 Corinthians is a perfect example of weariness.
Paul lamented to God about the thorn and wanted it removed from him immediately, but God answered him that His Grace was sufficient enough to carry him through.
Psalms 29:1-11, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, 1John 1:5-10.
These gifts are like the equipment or tools that are used to make something, when it comes to selfless service. Each gift is meant to achieve a certain objective and to qualify or strengthen the other gifts. No gift is given that does not impact the body of Christ. Whatever gift you have or that is there, it is for a reason and work on someone. These gifts work together but manifests differently.
