Prayer Overcomes Powers and Principalities

Today in continuation with the monthly theme “When Men Pray”, we are again privileged to meet and encounter the most explicit account of what actually happens in the spiritual realm in so far as spiritual warfare is concerned.
The Power of a Prayerful Man

Daniel was one of three leaders directly under Cyrus, he outshined the other two because he had an excellent spirit and this was the beginning of his problem that led to his death sentence through the hungry lions.
It is also interesting that this event happened to be the door of their release from the Babylonian exile which lasted 70 years.
The Necessity of Praying Men

In our passage today we reflect on the event that took place in Philippi where Paul and Silas were put in prison for freeing a young girl from demonic oppression.
